  Hotel is on a very good location, rooms are moderately good (but lack of AC sockets at comfortable positions, like by the bed), but locked minibar? What the hell was that? Also, the interior is way too shiny, at least for my taste.

  Spacious and clean rooms. Easy access to the subway. Walking distance from arbat road.

  If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around... I stayed at the Golden Ring hotel for two nights. The hotel is very close to public transportation and many interesting sights. Gorky Park is a nice walk away in one direction (I've skating in the winter is such a cool experience), and Red Square/Kremlin/Saint Basil's Cathedral a pleasant walk in the other direction. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, and the heating is not too hot like in many Russian hotels. There is also a well-equipped gym at the hotel. I'd stay here again and recommend to anyone for great value and comfort.

  There's a nice restaurant on the top floor, serving great meals and for a good price. The view from there is amazing and a couple of gentlemen are playing very nice music in there. The hotel is rather old so many things don't really work. It was quite cold in the room, even after we asked to turn the heating a bit up. The staff didn't behave especially friendly, nor helpful. The breakfast was super expensive. Also there's no encrypted WIFI, which was very disrupting for my business trip.
