::This place exceeded my expectations. It's in the GUM (one level up), and I thought it would be very expensive, but for Moscow standards it was fine. The coffee was outstanding - they had almond milk and a cortado! And perfectly prepared. The choice of dishes is very good as well - a menu not too short and not too long, with every type of taste well catered for. And whatever you choose, it's very tasty. Maybe even more important to mention: the service. Moscow, probably like any metropolitan city, has its fair share of grumpy service without any real motivation to help you. But these fantastic people go out of their way to make your breakfast, lunch or dinner, or just tea, a comfortable and tasty experience. They speak English very well, will ask you (without prompting) for your particular preferences ("our borsch is cold because it's warm, is that okay for you?" or "the V5 comes with red and green raw onion, would you rather like your dish without?"), it was a breath of fresh air. This goes on my Moscow Safe Haven list - you can't go wrong here!
