  You must book a show in advance. It's hard to get a ticket otherwise. The stages ( historic and new stage) are awesome and the ballet will blow your mind. I have watched Romeo and Juliet, and would definitely suggest a visit to this place

  Excelent! The Onegin ballet was simply great. Perfect performance. The building itself is a masterpiece too. We took a guided tour through the building which was very informative and gave us a good insight into the history and present of the theatre. Highly recommended!

  An incredible experience in two ways. The first for the Theater in itself - the architecture, internal and external is superb. Second, and more important, the quality of the plays you can watch here. The presentations of operas and ballets here are, probably, one of the bests you'll in whole world.

  Place is great. Shows unbelievable. Very tricky to understand how to use your online ticket. Print? Not print? Exchange? Sorted out only cause a friend of mine is russian, as nobody in the ticket office could speak English. Once you're inside the experience is just great. Absolutely a must if you visit Moscow!

  This historical Opera theatre, famous for Russian ballets is very impressively decorated inside and very well maintained. Chandeliers, painted walls and ceilings, classic furniture give a pleasurable feeling when one is inside the theatre to watch a performance. While the air-conditioned cooling was perfect in the lobbies, I felt the ambience inside the theatre a little too warm for comfort.
