  It is not a fancy decorated hotel. Its appearance indeed matches with the buildings in area which should be built during the 50~70s. It has restaurant and cafe inside. A metro station is nearby for about 19 minutes walk. Also a small plaza and restaurants are within walking distance.

  PROS: - Soviet-style hotel with an interesting 80's vibe. - 10 minute walking distance from the metro station, which takes you to downtown in less than 30 minutes. - A supermarket is 3 minutes away walking, open 24/7 and with a huge variety of food / products. - Felt very safe in the neighborhood, even late at night. - Nice neighborhood few blocks behind the hotel, with more stores and restaurants. CONS: - Rooms are clean and do not look worn out, but the back patio looks old and in need of repair. - Old AC system in rooms, expect weird noises occasionally and poor cool downs.

  Old stinky hotel. Terrible slow service at the restaurant and bar. Only 2 people "speak" English

  Old Soviet style hotel perhaps belonging to the era as well. Good views from the front facing rooms. Rooms are well maintained and don't necessarily look their age. The staff is accommodating. Stayed there on a business trip. They give free WiFi with good speed. It's located not so far from the Red Square and is easily spotted from the main road.
